Young people are the future leaders of Europe, and their engagement is essential for building a more sustainable world. The ECOEDU project places students at the center of sustainability education by addressing the social, environmental, and economic dimensions outlined in the UN Sustainable Development Goals. Through innovative curriculum products, digital tools, and intercultural collaboration, the project equips students with the knowledge, skills, and values necessary to adopt sustainable lifestyles. By connecting schools and institutions from France, Turkey, Italy, Sweden, North Macedonia, and Spain, ECOEDU fosters cooperation that not only strengthens European identity but also preserves cultural values while empowering young people to become global citizens.

The urgency of climate change, biodiversity loss, and unsustainable consumption highlights the need for immediate action in education. ECOEDU responds by creating practical resources such as e-learning modules, e-guides, mobile applications, and digital games that integrate sustainability into everyday learning. Teachers are empowered to guide students, while students gain opportunities to develop 21st-century skills, sustainable economy competences, and active citizenship awareness. By bridging theory and practice, ECOEDU ensures that young people are prepared to lead the way toward a greener, fairer, and more resilient Europe.
